MARC records reflecting the TexShare e-books are now up and running at the Wimberley Village Library. The library uses Follett Catalog Plus and there were a few quirks along the way. For a sampling, visit the library's webpage http://www.wimberleylibrary.org. Click on "catalog" and perform some simple search -say "Texas" or "yoga". Note items with the red book with an "e" (the netlibrary icon); choose one and look at the copy record. (The status will say "OUT"-- it doesn't matter.) In the copy record, across the top in yellow letters, look for the opportunity to "Preview" or "Check Out". Click on "Preview" for a brief visit to the netlibrary site for that book.
