The Library Resource Sharing Division of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission is pleased to welcome Russlene Waukechon as the new TexShare Database Coordinator.
Russlene will coordinate the statewide online database program. She will work with the TexShare Electronic Information Working Group to select databases for statewide purchase and with database vendors to insure ready access to the databases. Russlene has over 15 years of experience in libraries. She has previously served as Head of Public Service for the Texas Medical Association Library, Library Director of the Llano County Library System, Library Director at the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, and has worked at the Weston A. Pettey Library at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Russlene has her MLIS from the University of Texas at Austin.
