Bob -- I thought there were more than 6,700 TexShare netLibrary titles.  Has something changed?

The 6,700 TexShare netLibrary ebook titles available through can be accessed through the CTLS web catalog at http://www.ctls.net/athcgi/athweb.pl

The CTLS Media Collection is the default.  To see the TexShare netLibrary ebook collection, click on the "Change Collections" button.

Click on the URL in an ebook record and you'll be taken to the netLibrary site, where you can read the ebook or check it out.  For more information on how checkout works, contact Sharon Herfurth.

If you'd like the 6,700 ebook MARC records to put in your catalog, let me know.

Why would you want the records in your catalog?

If you are using a web interface for your catalog in the library or have special software to allow Internet access at your catalog stations, a patron can go directly to the netLibrary site to see the ebook.

If your library catalog stations don't have Internet access but you provide a web catalog, your patrons can access the ebooks at home (which may be even more useful to them).
