Yes, Temple has one. We use it to go to nursing homes, senior centers, etc.
for the elderly, plus we also go to low income housing and after-school
programs for the kids. We don't just go out into neighborhoods like you
might think a traditional bookmobile would though.

P.S. When I worked at Bryan Public 10 plus years ago (my how time flies!)
they had a bookmobile that went to the women's prison there. I'm not sure
they still have it though.

Someone asked me at the end of the membership meeting if I knew of any CTLS
library that had a bookmobile. Sharon tells me Temple has one. Does anyone
else have one? I thought Waco had one at one time. Austin last had them over
30 yrs ago.

2 questions: does your library have a bookmobile?

and/or...are you the person who asked me?
