There is one session scheduled next week (Beaumont!).  Two other
sessions
(Abilene and Conroe) are also scheduled in February.

The first of four training offerings is now open for registration as
part of
the Gates Grant training provided by the Gates Foundation through the
Texas
State Library and Archives Commission. 

Basic PC skills will be covered in 3 consecutive day-long sessions.
Individuals may register for all three topics (3 days of training) or
may
chose to participate in only one or two of the sessions. Be sure to
register
for each session you wish to attend. Participation is limited to
computer
availability at each location.

Day 1 -- "Introduction to Windows and Word"

This hands-on training will be provided by MicroAssist Inc.

company

agencies, commissions and bureaus and many others for a wide variety of
corporate clients. They offer about 200 standard training classes and
frequently offer custom-designed curricula.  

Register now for classes in February!  25 sessions are scheduled around
Texas.
