Once again, Austin Public Library has grant funds to hire library school students and recent graduates as cyberlifeguards. The temporary positions work 20-30 hours a week for about 10 weeks in the Wired for Youth Centers. The cyberlifeguards help to keep the centers open more hours during the summer and provide additional classes and programs for youth ages 8-18.
