The Texas State Library and Archives Commission is pleased to announce the purchase of 10 downlink licenses for this important teleconference on health information literacy. THIS EVENT IS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED. ------------------------------------------- Would you like to learn more about health information literacy? Do you know how health literacy and readability of health information are measured? Would you like to know what your colleagues around the country are already doing in the area of health literacy? Then mark your calendars for September 10th and make plans to attend this important satellite teleconference produced by the Medical Library Association! The Texas State Library has purchased 10 downlink licenses in order to make this teleconference available FREE OF CHARGE at 10 different locations around the state for the benefit of Texas library staff. Please make plans to attend this teleconference and please note that this event is just one month away. One additional host site is pending so please check this Webpage frequently to view the host sites for this event. **The Texas State Library is making every effort to make this event available throughout the state, however, please note that if it so happens that a host site is not located conveniently to you, you can make plans to borrow a videotape of the program from the Texas State Library after the event has aired.** If you are planning on attending the event at any of the host sites, all that is required is that you contact the site coordinator at that site at least 24 hours in advance of the event in order to notify them of your plans to attend.
