Program is for parents, librarians, teachers, writers and illustrators. Books will be available for sale and autographing. Howard is the author and illustrator of WHEN I WAS FIVE (Harcourt, 1999), HOODWINKED (Harcourt, 2001) and the illustrator for Kathi Appelt's BUBBA AND BEAU BEST FRIENDS (Harcourt, 2002) and Cynthia Rylant's PUTTER & TABBY series. His books have been honored as ABA's Pick of the Lists, a Crayola Kids Best Book, and as an IRA-CBC Children's Choice. He lives in New York City.
