The Cedar Park Public Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is sponsoring its 7th annual Bull's Eye Bash and Book'em to be held at the Library at 550 Discovery Blvd., Cedar Park on Saturday, October 18, at 6:00 p.m. The Bash consists of a wild game and regular barbecue dinner, a silent auction and the Book'em where celebrity judges will throw VIPs to a mock jail. Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door. In the past, the event raised from $9,000 to over $30,000 and attendance averages 200-300+. This year the Foundation has received confirmation that US Congressman John Carter and State Representative Dan Gattis will be attending this event. Call 259-5353 for information.
