Diane Sweeney, who manages the shopping centers at 360 and 183 in Austin,
called one of our member librarians about a free offer. The original owner,
Earful of Books, apparently ordered the furniture (fixtures) right before
they declared bankruptcy. As a result, Diane has 6 or 8 shrink wrapped
pallets of white laminate furniture that has never been opened. She
believes these are shelves for audiotapes and counters, but since they are
unassembled, she does not actually know.

Is anyone interested in this? Diane doesn't know any more than what is
stated above. If you can use counters (that presumably could be used as a
circulation desk) or shelving for audiotapes, please call her at (512)
338-4755. The pallets are stored near Marie Callendar's, next to Taco
Cabana, in suite 710. A security guard could show people the furniture
between 6 am and 9 pm most days if they made arrangements in advance. The
pallets must be moved by early December.

Thank you.
Laurie
