Summer is just around the corner. Temple Public Library is booking performers for our programming, so if any of you are interested in joining in and, hopefully, sharing the cost, let us know. Call Denise at 298-5289.
Each of our programs are at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays on the below listed dates. There is an asterisk beside the names of those performers we have used before.
*June 17: Jungle Jim. Enthusiastic pro who brings live and preserved insects and rare lizards, with several surprisingly large samples.
June 24: Storybook Theatre. Texas touring theater troupe bring to life Amelia Bedelia, a math game show, and various folktales.
July 1: Open date
*July 8: Lucas Miller. The Singing Zoologist, Miller performs with music and puppets to promote being kind to the environment.
*July 15: Rob Holladay. Entertains with a character-building program full of illusions, puppetry, comedy, storytelling and audience participation.
July 22: Local program.
