Any suggestions or advice for Judy about attempting to bar code while keeping the library open? (Please email her directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED]) ************ 2-5-04 Dear Bob, The Board went into a long discussion as to how they think we should bar code....on the back of the book (yes, I told them about inventory), and also that they did not want the library to close since it is open just 21 hours. Did any of the CTLS libraries have experience with bar coding while the library is open? I might like to talk to one of them, but there will be a meeting this Tuesday night so there is not much time.. Some days are not so busy for us, but we never know when that is going to be! Usually not Tuesdays, the longest day open, and not Fridays. They are also going to print the new cards themselves and buy a laminator for the staff to laminate the cards!
