On March 6,2004, the Friends of the Blanco Library will sponsor "Texas authors: A Celebration" at Gem of the Hills. The authors who will speak and sign books are: Ben Rehder, P.J. Pierce, Michael and Elizabeth O'Brien, Lucinda Hutson and Tom Miller. The event is from 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. tickets are $10.00 advance and $12.00 at the door. Box lunches from Hardscrabble Restaurant will be available for purchase for $10.00. This is a benefit for the Blanco Library.
