CTLS is hosting two hearings for members to comment on the proposed changes to the State Library's minimum criteria for System membership and the TLA standards. The hearings will be at the Wells Branch Library on May 13 and at the Harris Education Center in Hillsboro on May 14. A representative of the TLA/TSLAC Joint Task Force on Public Library Standards and Accreditation will be present at both hearings. The Task Force's proposed changes are posted on the State Library's website at http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/plstandards/index.html (see links at the bottom of that page). You can comment on the proposals and read the comments posted by others.
