Rick Perry has declared June 12, 2004 as Texas Reading Club Day. A copy of the Texas Reading Club Proclamation signed by Gov. Perry, along with a Press Release, was mailed to all participating libraries at the end of last week. A printable, downloadable copy of the Governor's Proclamation is available on the Texas State Library and Archives web site at http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/projects/trc/2004/proclamation.gif.
