---------------------------------------------------------

It appears that one of our member libraries has been bitten by one of the
new viruses going around the Internet. The infected computer is sending out
infected messages to everyone in their address book and making it look like
the message comes from someone else in the address book. This is called
spoofing.

Please update your virus definitions on all of your computers and do a
complete scan of your computers. You can start the scan at the end of the
day so that it will run while the library is empty.

It is possible that this computer became infected even before a virus
definition was available. It does happen with really quick moving viruses.
The best we can do is to set our antivirus programs to auto-update as
frequently as the program will allow.
