The San Marcos Public Library will host 29 Texas Authors on Sunday, November 14 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. These published writers will be on hand to sign copies of their books and chat with fans. A variety of genres will be represented including local history, Texana, mystery, horror, children’s literature, poetry, history and fiction.
The visiting authors are Dianna Hutts Aston, Linda S. Bingham, John Blair, Robert Bonazzi, Roger Boylan, Edwin H. Cooper, Elizabeth Crook, Steven L. Davis, C.F. “Charley” Eckhardt, Robert Flynn, Marian Haddad, Susan Hanson, W.W. Harper, Bob Huffaker, Scott A. Johnson, Allan C. Kimball, Dallari Landry, Bill Mercer, Ed Mihalkanin, Bryce Milligan, Naomi Shihab Nye, George Phenix, David Rice, Rick Riordan, Sterling Rogers, Frances Stovall, Ofelia Vasquez-Philo, Bert M. Wall, and Ken Woodard.
Several authors will also be reading selections of their works throughout the afternoon. Scheduled are Sterling Rogers at 1:00, Robert Bonazzi and Bryce Milligan at 1:20, Bob Huffaker with George Phenix and Bill Mercer at 1:40, Naomi Shihab Nye at 2:00, Rick Riordan at 2:20, Edwin H. Cooper at 2:40, David Rice at 3:00, W.W. Harper at 3:20, and Scott A. Johnson at 3:40.
Books will be available for purchase from the authors as well as from the Texas State University Bookstore. All ages are invited to attend. The library is located at 625 E. Hopkins St. in San Marcos. For more information call 512-393-8200.
