The draft bylaws are posted at: http://www.ctls.net/Governance/CTLSDraftBylaws.htm The bylaws are based on the current CTLS bylaws and the NTRLS bylaws. Significant changes from the NTRLS bylaws are in red text. There are only a few changes in the articles other than those dealing with the Board and elections (which were agreed to at the October 21 Membership Meeting). The proposed composition of the Long Range Planning Committee will probably be of greatest interest to members. Members will consider the proposed bylaws at the January 28 Membership Meeting, and once agreement is reached the Board will adopt them. The Nominating Committee will announce the candidates for the new Board in early January, and nominations from the floor will be accepted at the January 28 meeting. Ballots will be mailed to members on January 31.
