My name is Mario Chocooj and on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service Region Five, I am writing to you requesting your invaluable support. As you might have heard, the Forest Service is getting ready to celebrate its Centennial Anniversary this coming up year 2005. One of the ways the Forest Service is celebrating such a great event, is by developing a documentary that tells its history titled "The Greatest Good." Because we need to make the public aware of this program, I will appreciate very much if you can support us by providing us with a list of State Librarians so I can contact them and ask them if they would be interested in having their library schedule a showing for the documentary once it is released in 2005. If a library schedules a showing, this library will get the DVD for free and can then add it to its collection. Because we know that some libraries may not have the facilities to show videos (DVDs) but if another library in their district has a showing and then adds the program to their catalogue, the program will be available for everyone in that library district. Briefly, we want to make them aware that this program exists and that we would like to share it with the community by enjoying a showing that the local library might be able to schedule. We thought that by working through the State Librarians will allow us to let everybody know about "The Greatest Good." I am looking forward to hearing from you.
