Award-winning young adult author William Sleator will speak to adults and teens on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ruiz Branch Library, 1600 Grove Blvd., Austin, TX. William Sleator, who has been writing science fiction novels for more than 30 years, will discuss his latest book, "Marco's Millions," published April 1, 2005 by Abrams Publishing. He is listed in The 100 Most Popular Young Adult Authors by Bernard Drew and his book "The Boy Who Couldn't Die" was named by the American Library Association to its Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers lists for 2005.
