The skill of managing volunteers goes beyond recruitment and tasks
descriptions. The ability to improve the quality of volunteer programs
through outcome based measurement, working with staff and board members, and
ensuring the quality of the program is essential. This session will explore
the many facets of managing volunteers beyond the basics.

Kathleen McCleskey will be the presenter. She is the President of KM
Consulting and Training Connection and has worked with nonprofits for over
thirty years. She has served as a director of several volunteer programs,
served on numerous local and international boards, and served for five years
as the Executive Director of The of Network of Directors of Volunteers in
Texas.

Plan to attend this full-day workshop on May 5, 2005, at Pflugerville
