It must be an excellent weekend for book sales.
The Friends of the Copperas Cove Public Library will hold their spring book sale on Saturday, May 7, 2005 in the cafeteria of the Avenue E Alternative Education Center, 306 East Avenue E, in Copperas Cove. Regular sale hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Early Birds can get in at 8 a.m. for an admission fee of $5.00 or free of charge if they are current members of the Friends of the Library. This sale promises to be the largest yet, with a huge selection of books for all ages. Special items include children’s books, books in German, cookbooks, and books on tape. All items are very reasonably priced, with hardcover books typically selling for $1.00, and mass-market paperbacks $.25 each, or 5 for $1.00. Specialty items may be priced separately.
