Karen,
Thanks so much for your offer of assistance. We are asking that financial donations for libraries be sent to our Louisiana Library Foundation and we will forward the money to the appropriate library or community. If someone wants to donate to a specific library, they can just indicate that and we will make sure they get it.
At present, we have not been able to assess actual damage or needs for materials because of power and phone outages. When we have a better idea of the actual needs, we may try to coordinate some donations of materials.
