FYI -----Original Message----- From: Naomi DiTullio [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2005 3:42 PM Subject: TXLIBVID network reminder Library Directors, Library System Staff and Tech Contacts, It has come to my attention that there is some confusion regarding the nature of the TXLIBVID videoconferencing network run by TSLAC. Although the network began as a closed network, the network has been "open" since the beginning of 2005. This means that videoconferences are not limited to the sites on the network -- videoconferences should be possible with any other H.323 (IP-based) videoconferencing site. For any given TSLAC videoconference, if you know of an H.323- capable videoconferencing site who would like to participate, please notify the workshop contact person and they will see whether that site can be added as a participating host site. More information about the network is available here: http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/distancelearning/videoconferencing/txlibvid.html . Please contact me if you have any questions. Thank you very much, Naomi ******************************************* Naomi DiTullio Distance Learning Consultant Library Development Division Texas State Library and Archives Commission PO Box 12927 Austin, TX 78711-2927 Phone: 1-800-252-9386 (Texas only) or 512-936-2586 Fax: 512-463-8800 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
