Going to the TLA conference in Houston? Want to attract teens to your library?

A pre-conference is being offered by PLD on Tuesday, April 25 on attracting teenagers to the library by hosting a gaming tournament. Here’s a note from the presenter:

Since I am hosting the program, I want to disseminate the information as widely as possible:

By design, the scope notes in the Conference brochure are short and sweet, so the notes could not cover how much fun this pre-conference will be! Eli and Erin are coming from Ann Arbor, Michigan to teach all libraries interested in learning how to attract teenagers into the library with a gaming tournament. They have presented at Michigan Library Association and a few other state associations around the Midwest. The best part is -- you get to participate. The afternoon will involve librarian gaming! Yes, you won't have to stay in your chair for eight hours straight! The program features Dance Dance Revolution, not Mario Brothers Go Karts or gaming along those lines. Please log on and register today. It will be Revolutionary!

Sounds like fun!
