One staff member alone in a library building is not a good idea. It doesn’t matter how small your town is or how safe you feel. Too many people out there are up to no good.   Can your board ask the city to increase your staffing budget to cover 2 people at all times the library is open? I’d hate to see you close some hours.   Keep us posted.
