Susan Anderson, who is in charge of Collection Development for the Austin Public Library, did order one of the CPR Anytime kits and we were wanting to put one kit in each location for checkout.  After reviewing the DVD we found that it is based completely on the manikin use and it can't be sanitized for use by multiple customers.  We won't be able to make those available for checkout.   It is marketed totally as a friends and family kit where each family could use it but it should not be shared with others.   Their website is cpranytime.org (included link below) and they have a FAQ section in there that talks about that.

All we have is the standard first aid kit. It is very seldom that there is any need to use it, usually just a bandage.

what are other libraries doing about first aid in the library, protecting the staff from exposure to pathogens and use of AEDs? Also do other libraries own the new first-aid CPR DVDs for self refresher use?
