This is a message from CTLS-L. Selecting "Reply" will send a message to the originator. Selecting "Reply to All" will send a message to the entire list. --------------------------------------------------------- Well, everyone does it differently. My
advice is to start out aiming high – yes, do levels but do them like
credit cards – bronze, silver, gold, platinum. Or imitate whatever
nonprofit fundraising names you’ve seen and admired. Don’t charge
less than $25 for a membership and go up from there. Recruit your Friends board
with the expectation that they will be a nonprofit corporation, because that’s
what they will need to be. I’ll send you a book or two from CTLS’
professional collection. Jennifer From: Barbara Hathaway
[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] We are getting ready to form a Friends group for our
library. Do you charge for membership? Do you offer different
levels of membership for different amounts (e.g., family, student,
senior?) Any words of advice? Thanks. Barbara Barbara D. Hathaway, Director 512.767.6624 phone 512.767.6629 fax |
