The Texas State Library invites ALL Texas library
staff/volunteers/affiliates to the 2007 season of the College of DuPage
Library Teleconferences and Webcasts.


The College of DuPage 2007 Season Library Teleconferences and Webcasts --
nationally renowned continuing education programs for Texas library staff 


The College of DuPage Library Teleconferences and Webcasts are great ways to
update or gain important skills and/or knowledge in the library field, meet
and/or network with library staff in your area, and earn Texas State Library
continuing education credit. These programs are available FREE of charge to
all Texas library staff - courtesy of the Texas State Library and Archives
Commission, in partnership with generous host institutions around the state.
There are NO pre-requisites for these workshops - no special technical
skills of any kind are needed. (Please note that there are some desktop
computer requirements if you would like to view the programs via Webcast on
your own desktop computer.)

Note: All programs will be broadcast from 11am to 12:30pm Central time 


Viewing information: 
These programs will be broadcast live at various sites around the state. To
view the live teleconference or Webcast broadcasts with a group at a host
site near you, please check the TSLAC Teleconference Web site at
http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/workshops/teleconferences/index.html to
determine the location nearest you for any given program. Be sure to check
the host site listings often for site changes/additions. Once you have
identified a nearby host site, make note of the site coordinator's contact
information and contact them to reserve a seat.
