The City of Lampasas is now accepting applications for a Library Director. Prefer considerable professional experience in the library field including supervisory and administrative responsibilities, ability to plan, organize and administer library services to meet community needs. Must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with the public by phone or in person. A Master’s degree in Library Science, plus two years supervisory experience or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus at least five years of experience preferred. A State of Texas County Librarian Certificate is required. Weekend, evening work and continuing education through attendance at workshops and courses is required. Applicant must be able to pass a thorough background check, physical and drug screening. Salary range is $39,450-$55,230 (DOQ), plus excellent benefits.
