Dear All,

Here is some additional information about The Literacy Empowerment
Foundation and the offer for free books for Read Across America Day. Most
of the books provided are by a single author, Bruce Larkin. They are new
and "gently used" paperbacks, and librarians cannot specify which titles
they would like to order. You may read some of the books online on the LEF
website at www.lefbooks.org/matching_book_grants/ by clicking on the link to
each collection and then clicking on each title.

Although the LEF books are free, libraries must pay for shipping costs. You
may be able to find higher quality paperbacks from other sources that better
meet your selection criteria, perhaps at a lower overall cost to libraries.
Please do not overlook opportunities for purchasing books through local
warehouses and other suppliers.

Best regards,
