entries so far!  Please tell your staff  about it.  You can tell them that

ESCUE CONFERENCE STIPEND
REQUIREMENTS 
The applicant must be a paraprofessional library worker in a Texas library.
For the purposes of this application a paraprofessional library worker is
defined as the equivalent to the Library Associate or Associate Specialist
categories in the American Library Association policy statement, "Library
Education and Personnel Utilization." This person performs supportive
responsibilities at a high level in a library, normally working within
established procedures and techniques, with some supervision by a
professional. Duties require judgment and subject knowledge such as is
represented by a four-year college education culminating in a bachelor's
degree. Education may or may not include courses in library science. 

The applicant must agree to work four (4) hours at the TLA booth during the
Conference, with the schedule to be arranged with the TLA Executive
Director. 

The applicant must agree to submit a written report on the Conference to the
TLA Office, with a copy to the Chair of the Scholarship & Research Committee
within thirty (30) days of the end of the Conference. The report will be
used to evaluate the stipend program.
