Gail - I decided to change the topic of CTLS' Feb. 28, Mar. 1 & 2 workshops, because the State Library will be doing a Collection Development workshop this spring, as part of the County Librarian Certification series. I don't want to duplicate effort and didn't know until recently that Collection Development is their topic for the spring. "Writing Library Policies" is a topic many members have asked for and so I figured that would be a good substitution. I'm also interested in doing a workshop on policies, because policies have a big impact on how we manage our libraries and the results we get. I recently attended a 5-day PLA Boot Camp on Library Management and we'll be including some of that material in the workshop. Brochures will be sent out Feb. 1st for this workshop. Thanks, Gail, for giving me a reminder about this change of topic! I was just reading the new CTLS Newsletter, and the Calendar of Events lists a training in Marlin for Mar. 1st titled "Writing Policies for Results". We are having Collection Development training here on Mar. 1st. Gail
