I have a question: one of our patron is looking for Blue Ribbon Books and I want to make sure that I am giving her the correct information and that there is not more than one Blue Ribbon Book award out there. She saw that a book she really liked (Is Your Mama a Llama) was a Blue Ribbon winner and so she is looking for other picture books that have won the same award. The Blue Ribbon Book Awards that I found are given by the Center for Children's Books (http://bccb.lis.uiuc.edu/blueindex.html). Does anyone know for how long the awards have been given?
