Dear Children's Librarians, You may wish to plan a release party during your summer reading club! According to www.jkrowling.com and Scholastic http://www.scholastic.com/harrypotter/, the final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released on July 21, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be illustrated by Mary GrandPre, the artist who illustrated all six previous books. Scholastic will sell the book for $34.99. Scholastic will also release a $39.99 reinforced library edition and a $65 special edition at the same time.
