Due to a family emergency, Michele Otstott has asked that we postpone our Library Policy Workshops. CTLS has been planning to do these Feb. 28th in Lampasas, March 1st in Marlin and March 2nd in Smithville. Michele's mother has had a series of serious medical emergencies; most recently she fell and broke her leg just below the hip socket. Michele's mother is profoundly deaf, so Michele has had to stay in the hospital round-the-clock whenever her mother is hospitalized, to interpret questions, commands, etc. of medical personnel. We do plan to reschedule the workshop. I know you're busy, but if you have a moment, would you let me know how important the topic of Library Policies is for your library and how soon we should reschedule it - i.e. should we try to reschedule it in May, before school is out, or should we wait until next Fall to re-offer the course?
