_____ From: Steve Seale [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 12, 2007 9:05 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: TLA program note Hi Jennifer. Please consider sharing this with your librarians. Thanks! Steve Here a couple of great reasons to hang around until Saturday, the last day of the Texas Library Association Conference in San Antonio. Jeff Crilley, an Emmy Award winning TV reporter in Dallas, will be presenter at "Free Publicity: Secrets of Getting News Coverage." The event will be on Saturday, April 14, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jeff will finish in time for everyone to find a good seat at the Closing Author Session with the Unshelved Librarians at noon. Jeff recently wowed an audience at a Northeast Texas Library System meeting. Many attendees said he's the most enjoyable and effective speaker they have seen. And lots of them have shared stories of how they used lessons learned from Jeff to get free publicity from local newspapers, TV stations, etc. For more information about the winner of "The Best TV Reporter in the State" award, go here: www.jeffcrilley.com <http://www.jeffcrilley.com/> . After hearing Jeff, do your best to attend the Unshelved Librarians event. Go here to see the hilarious winners of their recent Pimp My Bookcart contest: http://www.overduemedia.com/blog.aspx?post=745. Also, when you fill out the TLA Conference Session Preference Form, please indicate you hope to attend Free Publicity: Secrets of Getting News Coverage.
