>From Laurie, re choosing Destiny as an automation system!

Laurie, I am going to reply in this forum because I want everyone to know. If
had known that Follet was going to buy out Sagebrush I would not have opted for
purchasing Sagebrush because I have heard so much about Follet

that was negative from School Librarians over the years. Another factor against
Destiny is that it like InfoCentre is a school library product. There are other
options for a small public library and I wish we had looked at them but Athena
had been so good for us. I installed it, upgraded it and with help from
Sagebrush Support could handle all its problems. Unfortunately tech support is,
sometimes not so good now (Overworked and undertrained but getting back up to
speed) and the emphasis is even more strongly aimed at thje schools. So my
advice is run screaming from Destiny and Follett. Look at any programs that are
aimed at schools and interview their tech support if you can. Judy Merritt,
Nellie Pederson Civic Library, Clifton
