Following up on the discussion of AEDs in libraries, I thought I'd mention that a non-profit group I volunteer with is starting to offer CPR/AED classes on a regular basis. The first one will be offered this Saturday, March 10, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Georgetown Fire Department Station #4, 4200 Airport Road. The class costs $25 per person, including the required book (it's an AHA requirement, not ours!). We're based in Georgetown but can offer classes anywhere in the region, although since most of us work during the week the classes generally need to be on Saturday.
