Schedule these classes when you think it would be most convenient for your customers and/or your staff. Fall 2007 would be great, or whenever you need them! Becky McKay would like to offer classes on two topics - general health information on the internet and mental health information on the internet. Each one will be two hours - she will include some exercises and handouts. These classes can be geared to library staff, library patrons or both. In places with computer classrooms, attendees can follow along, but she can also do the class in places without computer classrooms. Call Becky to make arrangements for public classes. Or contact me [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I will organize workshops in each region of CTLS for library staff. Here are some brief class descriptions: Beyond an Apple a Day: Finding and Evaluating Consumer Health Information on the Internet 2 hours of CTLS CE credit for member library staff. Attendees can follow along if your facility has a computer classroom.
