I am somewhat out of date from the work force since I am retired, but when I
was a business owner in Houston, this was one of the hottest type scams going.
It was difficult if not impossible to trace, but many businesses in Houston got
burned with this. My first instinct would be to toss it into the old "x" file
or whatever we are calling discards today.

  Subject: [Publib] Century Computer/Computing - Toner/Ink Cartridges

  To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I have been contacted several times by Century on test driving their toner
cartridges. If we don't like it send it back and pay nothing. If we do, pay
the invoice. When I asked for contact information I was told it would be in
the box. I, of course, refused their offer.

Is anyone else aware of this scam...uhm offer? What other companies are
offering the same offer? Next time I talk to them I would like to be able to
say. Sorry, Sir, after consultation with other libraries I do not feel that
you offer is not in our best interest.

  Thank you,

  Melissa
