Sad news: Marilyn Johnson, manager of continuing education at the Texas State Library, passed away last Saturday. Marilyn was a big help to our libraries in getting e-rate and Gates grants. Her co-workers created a proclamation in her honor which was read and passed at last Friday's Texas State Library and Archives Commission meeting here in Austin. It is attached.
