Gloria from TLA just emailed us about this - what a wonderful resource for public libraries! Kam McEvoy Electronic Resources Specialist Central Texas Library System, Inc. 1005 West 41st St., Suite 100 Austin, TX 78756 512-583-0704 x19 800-262-4431 x19 fax: 512-583-0709 _____ From: Gloria Meraz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2007 4:30 PM Subject: free citizenship toolkits for public libraries I have just been contacted by the Office of Citizenship in San Antonio. The federal government has produced a series of toolkits for public libraries to help with citizenship training, etc. I understand that 12,000 toolkits will be available at no cost, but libraries have to register to receive free copies while supplies last. To register, librarians need only go to www.citizenshiptoolkit.gov <http://www.citizenshiptoolkit.gov/> . As the supplies are going fast, I would appreciate your help is forwarding the message to public libraries. Many thanks, Gloria Gloria Meraz Director of Communications Texas Library Association 3355 Bee Cave Road, Ste. 401 Austin, TX 78746 512/328-1518; 800/580-2852 (fax)512/328-8852 www.txla.org
