Is anyone out there trying to get rid of some shelving? The Pflugerville
Community Library needs some media shelving and some shelving for the
children's area closet. Please let us know. Thank you!

We've had Apollo since April. We converted from Athena to Apollo and the
migration of the catalog and patron information was a simple process.
Feedback from both the staff and our patrons has been positive. The patrons
especially like the functions they can do from home, like renews, request
titles, and reserves. Another helpful feature is that patrons can be
notified by email of any overdues, reserves ready for pick-up, or even a 3
day notice of when a title is due. Be ready to make some adjustments, but
once everything is in order, Apollo is amazing. Very user friendly. We've
also had positive results with customer support. I think one thing that
makes Apollo effective is that is was created by someone very familiar with
public libraries and our needs.

I'm incredibly prejudiced since we helped develop the software.... Feedback
from our public has been overwhelmingly positive. I can think of at least
20 people who have taken the time to stop and tell me how much they like all
the features.

Is anyone out there using Apollo from Biblionix for their online catalog? I
am considering it and I wanted to know what you think about it.

Thanks
