This is in reference to the TWU program to give Library School grants to 30 small community librarians - they've only received one application so far! -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dawn Vogler Sent: Wednesday, September 12, 2007 12:46 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [slm] PELSC Grant Applicants Hi there, I was up at TWU yesterday talking with the grant coordinators and faculty that will be teaching this cohort of 30 librarians from small communities. We had a very interesting meeting about the 8 required core courses. We did some tweaking of the content/assignments, hopefully to match the needs of working librarians in small communities. Anyway, they've only received one application so far and wanted me to post that the application itself can be mailed without transcripts and scores from the standardized test you will be taking. They have an admin in the department that tracks the missing elements of your application and sends reminders. It's pretty traditional to get the application in, then add those other materials over a period of weeks. We thought that might need some clarification. So, if you are going to apply, send in your application so they can get you in their system! They will help move you along in the process.
