We have received the following information from Ebsco regarding this problem. Russlene Waukechon TexShare Database Coordinator -----Original Message----- From: EBSCO Publishing [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 31, 2007 12:13 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: EBSCOhost Connectivity from Texas Dear EBSCO customer, It has come to our attention that certain customers in the state of Texas have experienced some difficulty in accessing EBSCOhost. Our immediate response has been to check our network access points, as well as those involving the Intertnet2 network, through which you may be connecting to us. We have been able to confirm that all of EBSCO's network access points, or nodes, are fully operational. However, we have reason to believe that there may be some connectivity issues associated with your access to your local Internet Service Provider (ISP), which in turn connects to Internet2, and ultimately, to us. Because we are not able to work directly with your ISP on your behalf, as they only work with their direct customers, we would like to suggest that you do the following, in order to resolve this issue: * If you have your own network and use it to connect to Internet2, please communicate with your network administrator(s) about this problem. They may be able to devise a workaround to enable you to once again access EBSCOhost. * If you do not use a private network to connect to Internet2 or EBSCO, but instead use a local ISP, please contact them and ask them to help you restore connectivity to EBSCOhost. We appreciate the inconvenience you may be experiencing and are sending this message to give you as much information as we have identified about this issue.
