At Westbank, we don't use InfoCentre. We use Apollo from Biblionix. But its
got such good support for this kind of thing I thought I'd pass it on.
Apollo supports labels, postcards, and can even do a one-step mail merge,
gnereating a PDF full of complete form letters ready to go.

Cheers,

Lisa

Does your library have InfoCentre? Please see the note from Faye at Hearne
below.

Thanks.

Subject: InfoCentre labels

Would you ask all CTLS members who use InfoCentre to send an e-mail or call
tech support and request that they make it possible to print patron mailing
labels so that we will be able to generate mailing labels from the program,
as was the case with Spectrum: It is a nuisance to type each label (to say
nothing about time consuming) to generate labels from Word, etc. I have
complained at least three times about this lack of this feature in the
program - the last guy said, "No one has posed the lack of that feature
before". So I told him I was going to ask all CTLS members to send an
e-mail asking that this feature be added to their next update.

Regards,

Faye
