Registration: 9-9:30am Workshop: 9:30am - 3:30pm, with a lunch break 5 hours of continuing education credit In this workshop, you'll find out how books are made, learn specific repair techniques that can be completed at the circulation desk, and get books back on the shelf quicker! Please bring 8 books that need repair and the following "repair kit" items: your favorite scissors (labeled with your name), wooden skewers, and waxed paper. CTLS will provide glue and other items. Mary Kay Wells has over 25 years of professional library experience. She was the coordinator of the Texas Panhandle Library System for 22 years. She now operates Wells Consulting and Continuing Education. She has even taught book repair to librarians in Alaska via satellite. This is a return engagement for her to CTLS.
