In this workshop, you'll find out how books are made, learn specific repair
techniques that can be completed at the circulation desk, and get books back
on the shelf quicker! Please bring 8 books that need repair and the
following "repair kit" items: your favorite scissors (labeled with your
name), wooden skewers, and waxed paper. CTLS will provide glue and other
items.

Mary Kay Wells has over 25 years of professional library experience. She was
the coordinator of the Texas Panhandle Library System for 22 years. She now
operates Wells Consulting and Continuing Education. She has even taught book
repair to librarians in Alaska via satellite. This is a return engagement
for her to CTLS.
