Hi, Ms. Nyfeler,

It was great to speak with you today. I appreciate your time and interest
in the "artist's perspective" regarding showcases.

Anyway, as I mentioned, I was unable to make the showcase last month because
I was booked in Houston. I really missed out on getting to promote my
programs to those attendees so I appreciate you passing on my information.

I am a songwriter & author of science-oriented stories and songs; many know
me as the "singing zoologist." This summer I'm offering a program called
"Lucas Miller's Animal JUBILEE" to tie in with this year's SRP theme. It
will be chock-full of my up-tempo, interactive songs about monarch
butterflies, sea turtles and more, including new songs I'm writing for my
fourth CD.

My programs delight children AND their parents with family-friendly humor,
positive lessons and smart, singable songs. I also consistently hear that I
am one of the most professional and easy-to-work-with performers in the
state. I have worked with the public libraries of Georgetown, Harker
Heights, Killeen, Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park and hundreds more in my
14-year career as an independent writer and performer. I'll gladly provide
references upon request.

My website, www.lucasmiller.net <http://www.lucasmiller.net/> , answers all
the questions a librarian would like to know about my programs (prices,
available dates, program outlines and more).

Thanks again and let me know if there's anything else I can do for you!
