The second round for the IMLS Connecting to Collections Bookshelf is now open! This free resource is intended for libraries with special collections to help preserve those collections. Don't wait! The Bookshelf application is online at www.aaslh.org/Bookshelf. Over 800 institutions were awarded the Bookshelf during the first round. Over 90% of those who applied were winners! The retail value of the publications is over $800 and some publications can't be found except in the Bookshelf. Priority will be given to libraries with special collections, small museums, botanical gardens, zoos, and aquariums. But large qualifying institutions are also eligible to apply.
